ICC Cricket World Cup Free Predictions 2019

Captain Eoin Morgan, who had a fracture in the finger before the first warm-up game against Australia, was declared fit for the tournament opener against South Africa. Adil Rashid and Mark Wood also have recovered from their shoulders and leg injuries. Jason Roy and Johnny Bairstow have the possibility of batting at number three and four with England’s Root and Eoin Morgan respectively. David Wiley and Liam Plunkett probably will join Chris Woakes in the fast bowling department. However, it is left to see that the host team decides to play two spinners in Moin Ali and Adil Rashid or to bring them into an extra game.

Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Enigidy who had massively threw 13 overs in a warm-up game against Sri Lanka, it seems that they have completely achieved fitness with their injuries. Dale Steyn, however, did not speak at all in that game, and it would be a matter of great concern for South Africa, who was expecting them to be fully fit till now. After his four-wicket haul against Sri Lanka, Andyle Fehlukewo has strengthened his case for a place in the playing eleven, and if Stan can not recover on Thursday, then the all-rounder can land on the field.

The two countries faced a score of 4-2 in favor of the host team six times in the 50-over format of the game at Kennington Oval. In the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy semi-finals, England won seven wickets in their recent struggle against Proteas.

England v South Africa prediction

England is the world’s number one ODI team while South Africa is at number three. So this will be a competition between two top-ranked teams and it should not come as a surprise if the match goes down the wire. There is a tremendous bowling attack in the protease and if the ball is good on the ball of Rabada and Imran Tahir, then they will play their chance well. He has defeated England four times in his last six ODI meetings and this should give the team considerable confidence.

However, the host has the advantage of playing in their own circumstances. He has a very strong ODI record on the field and has defeated the Proteas on the last four occasions. Although South Africa is a very dangerous team and any opposition can strike on their day, we are starting our World Cup campaign with the home team’s victory here.
